AyurVijnana Vol.7, 2000

Dear Readers,

In view of the larger number of articles reaching us, AyurVijnana is appearing now once a year. This issue, for the first time, carries a special feature on the lives of the Badmaev physicians (page 3 - 54), which, we hope, will contribute to further research on this interesting topic. We are especially grateful to Dr. Vladimir Badmaev Jr., the fifth physician in the Badmaev family lineage, for his special interest and support in preparing this feature. The valuable contributions by Tatiana Grekova, Natalia Bolsokhoeva and Maxim Woroshilov are also gratefully acknowledged.

We also wish to thank our Editorial Advisors and Associates for many useful suggestions. With the ongoing support of our well-wishers and supporters we continue to enjoy working for the promotion of Indo-Tibetan medical traditions.

Perhaps, some of you in course of time will even find your way to our Centre Vijnana Niwas at Kalimpong for your research activities, making use of our library and database facilities.

As always, readership responses will invariably be a source of encouragement for our efforts.
