3-month Training Courses in Ayurveda for Foreign Medical Practitioners

Gujarat Ayurveda University was established in 1967 as a mono faculty University by the Government of Gujarat with the objective to provide instructions, teaching and training in traditional Ayurvedic medicine and allied subjects, and to facilitate research and advancement of this ancient medical culture. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India and is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities. It is equipped with a rich library, museums, laboratories and a 250 bedded hospital for general treatment and research. Graduate and post-graduate courses in Ayurveda are conducted at the university itself as well as in nine Ayurvedic Colleges that are affiliated to the university. Doctoral degree guidance is also offered to Ph.D. scholars.
